Mike joined Southwest Strategies in May 2004, but his Austin real estate career began in the late 1980s. He co-founded and became president of VW Property Management Co. and was responsible for leasing and managing more than 200 investment properties in Central Texas. After selling his interest in VWPM he went to work for Texas Governors Richards and Bush directing the $100 million LoanSTAR program of retrofitting public buildings for energy efficiency.
Since his return to commercial real estate in 1999, Mike has applied his wide range of expertise in a straightforward style that has helped to form lasting relationships with clients such as Oasis Silicon Systems, eLoyalty, SiteStuff.com, TX Diabetes and Endocrinology, Jones & Carter and Morrison Homes.
Mike earned a bachelor of science degree in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University and is a candidate for the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation for real estate professionals. He is a member of the Commercial Leasing Brokers Association, Certified Commercial Investment Member Central Texas Chapter and Real Estate Council of Austin. Mike also served two consecutive terms on the City of Rollingwood City Council.

Jackie Swanson, property manager, joined Southwest Strategies Group in 2006. Ms. Swanson's portfolio consists of office and retail buildings in the Greater Austin area. Her commercial real estate experience includes direct building management for office buildings and retail properties, tenant and vendor relations, lease negotiations and administration, construction management, tenant improvement and contractor bids, staffing, budget preparation and reconciliations.
She is a licensed real estate agent and is currently a candidate for the Certified Property Manager designation with a projected completion date of June 2012. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2004. Jackie is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), and the National Association of Realtors (NAR). She also serves as the financial committee chair for Liveable City.

Adam Fike joined Southwest Strategies in the winter of 2010. As a Managing Agent, Adam's main focus is developing a winning team of agents and executing on strategies to increase market share. He was raised in a real estate family, his father being a successful land broker and developer and has been in commercial real estate for twelve years. Adam started his real estate career in Austin but soon after graduation he moved to San Diego where he joined the prestigious investment firm Sperry Van Ness and worked with a winning team for eight years. He has a successful background of team building, analyzing, marketing, leasing and selling commercial properties and is able to offer an all-encompassing service to his agents and his clients. Adam has been involved in countless transactions varying from the sale of anchored retail centers to numerous user transactions, lease and sale. He is involved in many organizations including CCIM and NAIOP.
Adam was born and raised in Austin and earned his degree from the University of Texas in Psychology. In his free time he enjoys cooking for friends, playing a number of instruments, and spending time outside exploring Austin.

Clay began his career with Southwest Strategies Group in 2007. Before that he worked for Sherwin-Williams for 12 years before returning to college to get his MBA. After that he managed the Austin office for Trader Publishing before joining Mike Wiley in 2007 to begin his commercial real estate career. At Southwest Strategies, Clay is able to help his clients build and expand their businesses through utilizing the experience of the some of the best minds in Austin's commercial real estate industry.
Clay earned a Bachelor's in Business Management in Marketing from Texas Tech in 1989 and a Masters of Business Administration from Texas Tech in 2002. Clay is a licensed real estate professional. Recently he has assisted professional and retail clients find lease properties as well as securing tenants for property listings in Austin.

Michael is an Austin native. Since moving away in the late 1980s has made stops in North Carolina to attain his BA from UNC- Chapel Hill, and then on to Los Angeles to operate in the high-end interiors contracting arena. As a 2nd generation Austin real- estate investor and broker, it was only fitting that he return in 2008 to resume his career. After earning "rookie of the year" honors at the single busiest residential real estate office in the United States by volume, he jumped with two feet into the commercial leasing and sales arena.
He has found a permanent home at Southwest Strategies group where he focuses on Tenant and Landlord representation. Michael is a member if the Austin Board of Realtors and a candidate for the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation.

Linda joined Southwest Strategies in July 2012, after successful six years at the Downtown Austin Alliance where she served as the Retail Development Advisor. In that role, she was responsible for attracting quality retailers to Downtown Austin and played an integral role in over 75,000sf of leases and over $3 million in property improvements. This includes retailers such as Patagonia, The Alamo at the Ritz, Easy Tiger, El Sol y La Luna, The Stage, Langford Market, Bang & Olufsen and Ligne Roset among others.
Through this experience, Ms. Asaf forged an extensive network with downtown property owners, business owners, the City of Austin and retailers nationwide. Her area of focus is commercial real estate with an emphasis on retail. She also represents clients in land acquisition.
Linda graduated from Columbia Business School with MBAs in Finance and Marketing. Previously, she enjoyed a successful corporate marketing career with Fortune 500 companies including Citibank, IBM and Young & Rubicam.
She is also a successful fashion designer with a studio and showroom on West 6th St in the Old West Austin Historic District. In addition, Linda is a Circuit Events Host Committee Member for the 2012 FORMULA 1 UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX ™ and serves on the Advisory Board for Austin Fashion Week.

Katie Fike joined Southwest Strategies in March of 2012 as an Administrative Assistant. Prior to being in the real estate field she has worked in the veterinary and biotech areas in various capacities. Katie works closely with the agents at Southwest Strategies to ensure top client satisfaction. She provides her co-workers with the tools needed to efficiently meet their clients' needs. She is responsible for coordinating the many details involved in deals and juggles the multitude of jobs associated with running the office and supporting the agents effortlessly.
Her duties include work with spreadsheets, multiple databases, preparation of packages and management of agents' schedules with clients.
